III Forum of the Union State
"Russia and Belarus: Common History, Common Destiny"
The event brought together representatives of government agencies, historians, legal experts, public figures, and academics from both countries. Discussions focused on joint efforts to counter the falsification of history, as well as attempts to distort the meaning and revise the outcomes of the Great Patriotic War.
The agenda also addressed Russian-Belarusian cooperation in the study, preservation, and practical use of archaeological heritage, along with museum affairs.
The Forum was organized by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the Center for International Cooperation of the Ministry of Education of Russia, the Historical Memory Foundation, and the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
The event operator was Cosmos-Limited, which provided hotel accommodation for participants, arranged meals throughout the program and a gala dinner upon its conclusion, offered transportation services, handled photo and video coverage, and prepared a rich cultural program.
