The conference was attended by historians, local historians, museum staff, archivists, librarians, and representatives of universities and research institutions from various regions and cities of the Russian Federation and CIS countries. They addressed and discussed pressing topics, including the actualization of military-historical heritage through museum practices, the role of cultural and historical memory in shaping public consciousness, new approaches to preserving and perpetuating the memory of the USSR and Russia’s role in the victory of the Great Patriotic War in the context of world history, and other relevant issues.
